I understand your despair, but I disagree with it.

There are decent, unmarried women. I’ve known several in recent years whom I might have pursued had I been single. At any rate, they were pursuit-worthy. Our next partners, yours and mine, are out there, and we’ll find them. I have no doubt.

And be careful with that cat fantasy. My ex and I had 10 cats at once. We started with three. There were no pregnancies, no litters of kittens. Makes you think . . .
