Thanks for reading! I’m glad you haven’t suffered for your choice to abstain. I have mostly not suffered. Mostly. But I can’t say all my interactions have amounted to “they won’t care whether you drink alcohol or not.”

Still, you may be on to something by saying it isn’t the abstinence itself but how I feel about that abstinence that puts people off. Guess I need to work on my poker face!
